Ah, the PLS, looking forward to this one. Will the shipping container be a part of it I wonder?

It is actually a kit of the M1120A2 LHS (Load Handling System), not an M1074 PLS (Palletized Load System). It is the same kit that Italeri came out with a few years ago, albeit much better detailed since it is based on the very nice Trumpeter M983A2 HEMTT Tractor. It does include the 20' container.
Italeri version.
Trumpeter initially showed their M1120 with a CHU (Container Handling Unit) that would have made it unique to the Italeri kit.
Unfortunately, it isn't going to be that version.
This is an M1074 PLS which has a heavier load capacity and a 3rd rear axle to support it.
I was/am building a PLS using the Trumpeter M983 and parts from the Italeri kit here. I need to get back to it. I have been really busy since retiring from the Army and moving back home to FL.

Nice news! A kit from Trumpeter looks much more interesting than from Italeri, I'll buy it, what to do, this is the market) I hope someday to see from them a modern version of HEMTT A4 with this specific engine cover.

Hopefully some aftermarket company will come to the rescue with those CHU.
Or maybe even Trumpeter if the current kit sells well ...
