Wanted to share some quick cell phone photos. I just opened my TAKOM BV 206S kit that came in the mail today from Hobby Search. This kit was first announced by Mario Matijasic here: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/28412

I thought all was very well packaged with wrapped sprues to protect parts.

Instructions look detailed with a correction sheet as well...
Not a good photo here, but a soft plastic part for the cables/etc between the front and back cabs included.

I see only minor flash. There are some injection plugs to fill in the interior, but overall looks great at first glance.

Rubber like the real one! Will need to evaluate best adhesive type to attach these to the kit. I am still trying to find a good reference photo for the BV206S track close up. Lots of photos on line for base model BV206 track. Heck you can even order the real BV206 track on line!??!

I am guessing you mean this one? I would think some careful trimming could help?

Per Wikipedia... The Bv 206S articulated all-terrain tracked carrier is an armored variant of the Bv 206. The Bv 206S is in service with Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and some other countries.
The tracks are 0.6m wide molded rubber with cord and the specific ground pressure is 13.4kPa and 13.3kPa for the front and rear cars.
The unladen Bv206S can be underslung and air lifted by a Boeing Chinook CH-47 and a Sikorsky Super Stallion CH-53 helicopters. The vehicle is air transportable in the C-5A Galaxy (ten vehicles), C-17A Globemaster (six vehicles), C-130 Hercules (one or two vehicles), C-160 Transall (one vehicle), A400M (two vehicles), CH-47 helicopter (one vehicle) and CH-53 helicopter (one vehicle).

Uncle Sam's Misguided Children use a variant of this down the road from me at the USMC Mountain Warfare Training Center, at Bridgeport, California. Theirs have a shorter nose on them. Is that from having a different (Mercedes) engine? Or just an older model?

There is a bad new about the kit. The wheela are the wrong type for an Spanish machine, the type included is used by some Italian and German vehicles, but on the other side the MG support is of the Spanish type different to the Italian or German one....

Hi!
There are 2 different typs of tracks used on BV206S. You can see the different types fitted to the different vehicles shown on Oliver´s side. Difference is in the treads.
The tracks seem a little flat to me, regarding the guiding teeth and also the tread. I can be wrong, but from the angled pictures it looks to flat.

Does anyone know if it's the same rubber tracks on this like it's on the early bv206 ? As i have the resin kit of that model and the tracks are impossible to do in photo etched
so i was hoping to use these ones if they are not to different...

I don`t like the idea of putting (stiff?) vinyl tracks around the wheels. Maybe the AM industry will come with an authentic resin track. I also hope that we will see different versions (German, Swedish, etc.) from either Takom or the AM guys.

PE tracks are not usual. I wonder why this choice of material.

The reason might be simple: Possibility to construct with computer and then etch...You might remember, this kit is quite old, long before 3D printing became available. A resin solution for such a kit would in my opinion result in a full resin part including the running gear as it is with the 1/48 kit. This, however, might not be acceptable for 1/35 modellers. Personally, I do not have a problem with flexible tracks like these supplied in the Takom kit, specially because also the original vehicle uses endless flexible tracks -as soon as these are well detailed AND NOT too stiff.
