Thanks for sharing these publications, Frenchy. On page 200 of the 2d Volume of the Convoy Ambush Studies is a section about an action that Soldiers from A Company from my battalion took part in. I remember hearing about it after it had happened. The rest of the battalion was at COB Adder. Alpha Company was at Camp Anaconda separated from the rest of us. They did a really good job for the units they provided security for and had been back from Afghanistan for only 6 months when we got the short notice alert for this deployment.
