Great News - too bad I'm already building the "original" takom version with no transparent hull.

I enquired at Antics in Bristol about availability of the transparent hull and turret models. The guy behind the counter advised me to be careful with them. He said that you couldn't use normal polystyrene cement on them as it tended to fog the mouldings and look rotten and that superglue type didn't really work very well. He advised using some special stuff designed for aircraft canopies, but I forget what it was called!

Contrary to the descriptive the kit is -clearly- (no pun) an Ausf "D" NOT an "A", and thank goodness it is as I want one of these. Is the transparent hull a limited-run feature like it was on the Rye Field "G" kit? The "A" with Zimmerit is welcome as well. Wonder if they'll offer the interior set as a separate purchase item? Either way, Yipppeeee!

It kind of blows that I bought my Panthers a while back (all Dragon), but as I already have a D, 2 A's (early, late), and 2 G's (with, without zimmerit) I am sort of stocked up for now. I did get the Ausf A Bergepanther, because I'm not an idiot (anyone want an Italeri Bergepanther?). I would like some new Jagdpanthers to replace my old Tamiya, and I know Meng has theirs but I am waiting to see if Takom pops one out.
Would be nice to have at least one Panther with an interior, though...

Both kits are "D, not "A"

The Jagdpanther interior sure looks good. Wish that they'd sell it separately though.
