While browsing the internet in search for photos about the model I'm working on (an M1113-based GMV) I found some pictures of vehicles with the antenna highlighted in the picture below.
What type of antenna is this ?
It is not the usual Sincgars antenna nor a satcom one, as far as I know.
Is there anyone in the community that can answer my question ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S. I will post pictures of my model later on.

Saw this antenna on a Stryker CV earlier this year. Still curious what this is.

It is possibly a TAC (tactical Air Control) antenna. There is one in the AFV Stryker upgrade set and also in the AFV M1130 Stryker box. It is part N21 in both boxes as they are the same sprue.

The main TAC antenna is also in both AFV kits. Part numbers are N4, N8, N9, N11 and N17.

Here is the instruction sheet to the AFV M1130.

Here is the actual kit part shown. Lower image.

Hey guys! I took that photo when I was in Iraq in 2004. The cap on the top of the antennae is similar to the safety caps that we use on our OE-254 SINCGAR antennaes which makes me wonder if the antennae is just a vehicle derivative of the OE-254. The OE-254 extends the range of our SINCGAR systems.
