WOW so many jerry's in the back !!!!!! Just having started my DUKW is nice to see a very fine work like yours, i d also bet that with weathering and washing it will show more its nice lines . The only thing i d change so far is the tarp in fron tof the windshield that doesnt look much realistic, maybe a resin or hand made one, would be better. I like your paintings and decaling, and i would appreciate if you could point out possible items to take care while building my DUKW. ahh another thingie maybe the tools straping down could be a lil more ..visible or improved, to show real good tiying up
Good work

very nice, the original stowage set up is great.

which paint did you use for the OD?

one point, i would lightly brush some streaks of raw umber oil paint onto the tool handels, they look awfully new.

cheers

I agree with the tarp thing. I've had real good results with tarps, tents, etc. by scratchbuilding them from either a rolled up gun cleaning patch, or facial tissue soaked in a white glue/water mix, and then painting. Also, maybe painted strips of masking tape for the tie-downs. Like to see it after weathering, etc.

Looks great. I agree about the front tarp though. I would also suggest some tie down straps to secure the fuel cans. I use 1/16 inch thin drafting tape to make tie downs. They look very good in 1/35 scale. The paint and decals look great. A little weathering and you got yourself a winner.

Excellent work, even before the wash/weathering. Payload does look good. OD paint looks perfect, too. Are you planning any figures at all ?

Greetz !!!

With all that gas on board, the smoking lamp is definetely out. Looks good. I agree with the tarp comments. Can't wait to see it washed and weathered.
