I remember the old Tamiya kit of the horse-drawn field kitchen. But shockingly enough I don't see kits for horse-drawn anything else. After all, using horse-drawn carriages, artillery, etc. was still common enough during WW2, especially by the Germans.

Mini Art also had a horse-drawn field kitchen (Russian) as well as a horse-drawn Russian field-piece. Italeri had a couple of horse-dawn German wagons, as did Bronco (I think).

ICM did (does) a Russian horse drawn divisional gun. A decent kit if memory serves.
As mentioned before Esci did a set for a horse drawn supply wagon and a ambulance. It was later released by Italeri.

Riich Models have several horse drawn vehicles. https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/24768
Italeri, Zvezda, Esci, MiniArt, Masterbox all produce 1/35 injection molded horse drawn vehicles.
They all vary in quality but if you want to build them they are out there.

As stated, Riich Models, ICM, Mini-Art, Bronco and Masterbox all have horse-drawn offerings. Verlinden also had several kits (Sprue Brothers still has quite a selection of Verlinden).

The problem with horse-drawn anything is the tack.
You can have a team of horses pulling a gun, but you would need to scratchbuild the harnesses and reins.
Also, only a few guns allow for horse-drawn models such as the SiG 33 and the 10.5cm howitzer. You have to build them without the pneumatic brakes, for example.

and they need to have a limber. Maquette have/had a kit with just a limber in it, could be combined with a few of the smaller Soviet guns.

Have you tried looking at eBay?
Thanks for posting those. Again, the problem will be the tack. The lack of detail will jump out in all but a personal, "I don't care if this looks realistic or not" setting. Certainly I would never give high marks at a show for anything horse-drawn that didn't have tack.

It sure is a lot of work tackling the detailing on a horse drawn wagon ...

I've seen some pretty amazing work done with these kits. The molded on tack on the old Esci kits was actually not too bad IMO.

You'll need some backup from maybe your mates, it's resin but there's a lot to gaze at overhere: https://www.elitemodell.de/elite/wehrmacht/komplettbausätze/
Horse drawn looks pretty good, rest of offerings I have doubts. There has been some major improvements for resin which I don't see with the vehicles, IMHO.
Horse drawn Pioneer items look very good though!
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

That has straight away become my favourite kit box top art ever. At least he looks like he made some good friends before he goes off to his - er - uncertain future on that perfect summer day. The pity of it...

When reading about the Russian Civil War, it mentioned that those vehicles were common and effective. Also I read that in Russia itself, their civil war has recently become a fashionable topic. Would like to know more though,

WOW!!! Didn't know this kit existed! How unobservant I am!!! I'd like to get hold of one of these kits and model it in one of my Napoleonic (Russia, 1812), vignettes... I don't only model Napoleonic figures- I like to work in other areas, as well. For example, some years ago I EXTENSIVELY converted and scratch-built an old 54mm AIRFIX 2nd Dragoons (Scots Greys) Horse & Figure into a mid-1800s American Pony Express Rider at full gallop. I used a re-sculpted HISTOREX "Roustam" head for this figure, and I did a lot in re-creating the appropriate clothes, hat, "Mail Pouch", saddle and tack. It was an enjoyable exercise in creating "something different"...

Hi! Do you, (or anyone else), know if anyone makes the horse-drawn Limbers for the DRAGON sIG.33 and the AFV CLUB leFH 18 kits? At one time, I vaguely remember seeing resin kits of these Limbers in one of the modeling magazines..?

Just came across this cast metal one from Hinchliffe. I don't know what gun it's designed for... It's OOP though :
And take a look at the one scratchbuilt by Jerry
