Evidently, several Sd.Kfz.234s were modified to produce a vehicle designated 'Schwere Panzerspahwagen Sd.Kfz.234 mit VK 1301 Turm (M.A.N.). The small-scale manufacturer, Attack, produce a kit of this vehicle, referring to it as 'Puch'. I am led to believe that this term is actually fictitious, and merely attributed by the kit manufacturer.
There is very little information on the subject, the only source I can find being the website, 'www.materielsterrestres39-45.fr'. A brief description is given here, together with a single poor quality photograph.
Does anyone have any further information on the vehicle?

As far as I know there is only some footage of such vehicle (from which I guess the photo was taken). According to Nuts & Bolts volume on the 234 series, it was likewise a unique vehicle

Yes, that is the photograph I was referring to. Strangely, the camouflage scheme appears to be a combination of light green, dark green and a very dark red-brown. The two darker colours are as I would expect, but not the light grey-green (in place of the 'dunkelgelb' base colour). My initial thought was that this was perhaps due to the quality of the image, but closer inspection suggests that it was, in fact, light grey-green.

Paul: before venturing out and deciding that it's a shade previously unknown and un-documented for in AFV exterior color schemes, can I invite you to watch the entire length of footage from the same series (German troops surrendering in Czechoslovakia May 9, 1945)?

Here are other instances of what we would assume to be dark yellow -- yet the scheme appears grayish green in the footage. That would suggest either color shift of the footage due to time or development.

Hi Roy
The link you've posted leads me to a musical video clip made by The Cure....![](../../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I guess the period footage you're talking about is one of these...
