What is the blue/grey shirt guy wearing around his neck?
Never seen that before.
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

Robert,
It's the throat mike for the intercom set, standard German equipment. In fact both figures are wearing it. The fact you haven't seen it before speaks volumes about Alpines attention to detail and the lack of same in other manufacturers. It should appear on all figures depicting German tank crew who are wearing a head set. It was much easier to just unplug the various parts of the kit and wear them for short excursions outside the tank than go to all the faff of taking it all off.

Rolled sleeves and shirt sleeves! I won't have to convert Africa figures for the Russian summer or Italy anymore!

These look wonderful and are a nice departure from Alpine's usual "Heroes of Soviet Realism" statues. These will be very useful in the open hatches of tank kits I have in my stash.

As always Alpine figures ROCK! I love the detail & poses and look forward to getting a couple of these for upcoming projects. I think that I currently have something like a half-dozen Tigers on the work bench that need figures like these.
