Hi All,
Recipe
Figures - are from Dragon kit #6707 I used the figure with the camo smock for one build and then used the top half of the figure with the camo smock and legs from one of the other figures in the kit. They were painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks.
Base - is thick foam board with balsa wood edges. I used a 60% sand and 40% spakfilla mix and applied it to the base and then painted and weathered the ground work.
The well is an old Verlinden resin kit and I used balsa wood for the frame and plastic card and rod for the brackets and bolts and also the handle.
The bucket and chicken are from Tamiya and the grass tufts are from the local gaming shop. The rope for the well is model sail ship rope and the water in the well was done using Woodland Scenics Realistic water.

Nice vignette Ron. It's a little bit scary the way your interests and subjects seem to parallel mine! I have to say though your output is much greater than mine both in quantity and quality!

Small, simple, yet really well done! I'm also amazed at how you're able to get so much fine work done so quickly. I know you've noted on a couple that they were done maybe a few weeks or months ago, but still, one wonders if you've got a platoon of elves under your workbench. I'm retired, so one might think I've got all day to putter around the bench, but it would take me a month just to get a scene like this one finished.

Steve -
Thanks Steve and your the third person that has said that and I think it's a little scary as well especially when people haven't met before can think of a subject/interest as someone else.
I'm retired from the Army due to an injury so I'm a stay home dad now so when I'm not doing house work, cooking or picking up the kids form school the rest of the time is mine and I get plenty of it LOL.
Jack -
Thanks heaps Jack and yeah I think we wish we all had a few little elves helping out LOL, but like you I'm retired and as I mentioned to Dave I'm medically retired from the Army.
I honestly only have the house work and pick up kids from school to do which all up is only a few hours a day and I don't have to worry about the yard as Veteran Affairs look after that for me so I have heaps of hours to do my hobby which I'm not complaining about
