Hello everyone, in an earlier thread I asked about the wooden box carried by Stug brigade 280.

Is this one I could use or is it to big? I cant tell scale or size from any pictures of the real stugs I can find online.

Thank you in advance.

It's a bit difficult to say. I've looked at some of the pictures of the rear of Stug Bde 280 Stugs and it looks good for size and in one of the pictures the Stug in the background has evidence of strengthening ribs on the top but its hard to be sure. It is possible this accessory was made to replicate one of the Stug Bde 280 boxes.

Considering that most if not all the Stug's had boxes covered in foliage or tarps, you could probably use it although it appears a little taller in the pic than what I would consider the actual ones were. Check out the pics on your previous thread

Thank you for your responses....even on the value gear webpage it is hard to tell because you are looking down....and the wartime pictures it is hard to tell also.

I wish that German photographer had thought of us modellers in the future and had taken better photos!!!

Maybe I will try to contact Value Gear and get the size of the item.

Thanks,
Eric
