Greetings, I'm working on a set of figures from MB. #35162, 'Lets stop them here'. It consists of 6 late war soldiers in cammo smocks. The box-art shows splinter pattern tunics. One of the figures has a jacket that is short, like a Panzer uniform, with a open V collar, and no breast pockets or hood. It is not a standard Panzer uniform jacket.

I can't find any reference photos of a uniform jacket as pictured. Any idea what the name or model number is for this jacket?
Thanks
Vicious

I think it’s a jacket issued to the panzer waffen SS after the 44

Looks to me like a privately tailored jacket made from zeltbahn material, fairly common for officers to have stuff like this made as they were required to buy their own uniforms.
He is a tanker by looking at his trousers.

I'm with Jerry. Looks like a privately tailored jacket from Zeltbahn material. There's a similar jacket in Jean de Lagarde's Histoire & Collections title "German Soldiers of WW2".

Thanks guys, I want that guy to be a Wahrmacht officer so I’ll just go with a splinter pattern, or perhaps the Italian cammo pattern that was used

The guy is a Heer soldier for sure. No SS. Now the Italian cammo material was overwhelmingly seen on Waffen SS guys from 1 and 12SS. I can't recall seeing an Army officer wearing anything like that. But never say never when it comes to German WWII uniforms or colors!
