Well SMK my ass!

Built mostly OOB. I didn't like the fender stowage wooden boxes and tools so I added boxes from the spares. The model was an easy build. The tracks were tedious but went together nice.

I always have better luck with gluing tracks to wheels at the start. When I leave rigid plastic tracks off and try to install last, I always run into fit issues because of paint layer build up.





Model painted with AK real Color. The distressed mottled paint effect was created with the hairspray technique. I used Montex masks for the markings.





Model was weathered with oils, enamels and pigments.

Joe - Thanks. I have a pretty basic set up. Six fluorescent bulbs over the work bench with a ballast, a piece of white poster board and three white light cards to reflect diffused light. I use a 6 year old Nikon that is still going strong. The levels and sharpness are adjusted in Photoshop.
