on any special subject? most of my favorite youtube channels are produced by "games" players under the heading of "terrain" or model railroaders under "scenery".

i'm 67 and only have so many years left, so if you want more help be a little more specific and i'll try.

Great question Dan! Thanks for the replies Tim and J, I have all of those on my subscription list as well as these three;
Scale War Machines
Sergio Solo
Scale Model Workshop
Not always diorama videos but some really nice stuff nonetheless.
On a related note, does anyone know of any good blogs? I follow Panserserra and a few others but most seem to have dropped off on input and have little activity. Any suggestions? TIA
Cheers,
Rick Cooper

The Terrain Tutor
yah?
Not impressed?
He is a bit of an odd duck, and a gamer, but he's entertaining and does have an occasional good tip.

I agree on all counts. some really good videos, entertaining, and a good soul. but I do have a threshold which gets crossed about 70% into most of his videos and the more enthusiasm, the more "yah?" and then I have to switch channels.
freely admit it's "me" and not him.

I was going to say Coen's scale modeling who had fantastic diorama focused videos, but not only did he erased his whole channel but his FB page is gone as well. Anyone know what happened to him?

Last night I watched 3 of Kathy Millatt's videos, cobble stones, brick & stucco. Some stuff I knew but a lot of techniques I'm gonna try.
I try and avoid YouTube. It's a "rabbit hole" of lost time for me. When a band that I'm unfamiliar with comes to town I'll watch a concert video which leads to another then another and soon an hour has gone by.
Anyway, I'm going to check out a few more recommended diorama channels. Thanks for starting this thread and the recommended channels!!
Have a good weekend everybody !

Hamilkar Barkas is a YouTube modeler from Germany; has good reviews and build-ups; Ian E is another; does lots of figures; some videos rather long but great work
