Thank you to the international cavalcade of respondents here!
Floris-thanks buddy!
Maarten-thanks Pal.
Ivanhoe-Thanks for the comment about using the Hornet head. Where would we be without Rogers' brilliance?
Wayne-thanks buddy!
Zon-I appreciate the kind words man.
Ralph-thanks for the kudos and yes,it is fake fur! An antique model railroad trick.
Rick-thanks for the comments buddy. No,sadly my book will not be ,as my ex-wife used to call them,a"lust novel".
Cheyenne- The sleeping guy has a Hornet head and Dragon brain bucket. His legs and torso were from the outstanding Dragon kit"Hohenstaufen". I buy those kits every time I see one available. The half of his legs is putty and his arms are all putty.
Alex-thank you Sir! Very high praise indeed! I do have several large tupperware boxes filled with older figure kits. You never know when you are looking for the"just right" frankenstein piece to make something easier to convert. Even th very very old Tamiya figs have a use as armatures and the big old clunky hands can be used as hands with think gloves on!
Thanks again, all, for breaking radio silence and chiming in. It makes it all worthwhile.
Cheyenne and anyone else interested. Here is the sleeper. You can see the areas I used putty. The legs were from a guy half laying on his side. I just gave them a half turn and moved his left foot down a bit. The arms are obvious.
