These figures depicting German Fallschirmjägers at the airfield were shown on Armorama as work in progress and now the miniatures are available. Check them out, as these really are a work of art.

These look like really nice figures. All we need now is a "Tante Ju" in 1/35th!!
I do have a couple of questions - I thought that the Fallschirmjager jumped armed only with pistols, heavier weapons such as machine guns being dropped in panniers? Or maybe that was only early on and changed later. Also wouldn't strapping sub machine gun ammunition around your calves raise the risk of a broken leg in a heavy landing?

I think they depict Fallschirmjägers for operation Merkur "Crete"
And Yes we Need a 1/35 Ju52.

Wow, these are great and you're right about the Ju-52 though only the corrugated site and a part of a wing would be necessary for a vignette dio. Not to mention more easy to display.
