Your work looks great. I do question the pose: why hold a rifle when there is a frame there to brace against? I’d be inclined to swap the torsos of the two.

I too think the poses should be reversed. Now, if they would/should/can and will reduce this to 1/72 scale.

I've been shooting with a .338 Accuracy sniper rifle, and can tell you: the way the guy holds his rifle, would most certainly break his arm if he shoots. I pulled the stock firmly into my shoulder (otherwise you can just as well not shoot at all) and still had a aching shoulder afterwards. That thing kicks like a mule.

Excellent painting! Another question for the group...is not YUFAN the guy that was making molded knockoffs of LIVE RESIN products? Just wondering about the quality of these?

Yaroslav mentioned it in another one of my posts where I used also Yufan figures. Althogh Live resin does not offer figures in such poses. And the ATV is built different than Live Resin´s one. I am not defending YUFAN, but I don't see it as an obvious kockoff, unless some of the gear in the figures is molded off live Resin stuff. That I am not sure.

I bought it because I saw it in eBay and I thought it looked cool. But I also agree with the above comments. The way the sniper figure is molded it is just impossible to build it holding the rifle correctly. He is not even "looking" through the sight. But I still think it is a cool little model. And it was good practice for multicam camo.

About the quality of YUFAN, it was fairly easy to build the model. A little warping of the resin of some parts that was fixed with boiling water. And the detail is very decent on both figures and vehicle.

Yes, he was making knockoffs. It seems the new figures from the company are 3D modeled, but I'm not completely sure...

I tend to agree with Mario. I think YUFAN has gone its own way 3D modeling and printing. In the past I bought some YUFAN PLA soldiers and were also originals. What has other sculptors in a scream is the prices they offer; They are way cheaper than other competitors with fairly decent quality. I would even dare say better than other more expensive competitors.

I too think YuFan 3D sculpts its own designs. An issue I have is that many of the YuFan figures look out of proportion in some areas and not very realistic. They even sculpt teddy bears (as a comic relief joke) on some military figures and I'm not sure if that's a separate piece. Other pieces of gear are questionable as to realism.

However, I agree that the prices are great if one doesn't care for 100% military accuracy.

A word of caution though is that I saw some 3D print lines on a resin figure's parts photo so I don't know how great some of the larger YuFan figures are.

Nice figures, but did anyone notice the shooter isn't looking through the scope...?
