I have the Track assembled in sections of 10
This will be easier to handle when painting.

Here is how I did it .
The Guide Horns are Hollow and go on the shoes a certain way.

Some of the Track pins wouldn't go in.

I used a #57 Drill Bit to ream out the holes.

Just a touch of glue to make shure the pin stays in.

Next to paint everything then the final assembly and Install.

Finished for now.

Looking good. What color metallic paint did you use for the tracks?

I used Model Master Metalizer Gun metal Buffing with Steel for the rub areas.

I like the Buffing M M Metalizers, as you can buff it, leave as is, or seal it with your choice of clear. It appears you're leaving yours as is.

That is correct, that way it can always be touched up.

Here are the Side Ammo Bins, it really helps to have a Photo-Etch bender for doing this.

They just need some paint, I'll finish assembling them when I get the Ammo finished.
Now for the 3 Spare Tracks on the fender.
You really have to work it to get the mounts over the Track.
Then I placed the assemblies in position on the fender and glued the mounts to the track. (NOT TO THE FENDER)

Well it took a while but I finally have the ammo finished.

These will go in the side bins, that's why I finished the ends.

The rest go in the verticle storage bins, you cant see the front half of the rounds, so there's no point in finishing them.

I have short pieces of sprue glued to the ends to make it easier to handle them while painting them.

Now to install them.

I have all the Ammo loaded in their bins.
Here's how I did it.
Starting with the assembled Bins.

Yes I know this pic is a repost, it's to show how it all starts.

After painting the Bins I slid the rounds in starting with the rear most ones.

This is the 6 Round Bin.

Be shure the edge of the round is against the support block and clear of the end of the Bin edge.

Like so.

Add the next row.

Add some liquid glue to the back side of the rounds.

It should look like this.

Now after removing the paint on the mating edges install the outside cover.

It's a verry tight fit if you want to install the cover first.

Now for the other side bins, this went a lot easier.

The first layer.

The second layer.

Here I install the Fenders and side Bins.
First of course I had to paint them , painted the part of the interior that is White, then masked it & the areas where the Bins go.

There's a thin line on each side where the upper armor mounts, if you mask it off it should make installing the upper armor easier.

Here's why I wish that I had left the rear fender parts off untill the fenders were installed.

I had to disconect them to get the fenders on.

Installed.

There's a small tab on the part that goes in a grouve as shown.

Man I needed that nap (Yahaaan)

Well any way I did get some more done.
I drilled and pined the small hatches on the driver & radio operators hatched.

Did the same for the drivers hatch, verry tricky here.

Not so good for the other one.

Hey I'm not purfect I show my screw ups along with what comes out right.
They give you the hatch for the G/H/&J models in the kit.
The hinges on the later hatch look a little bigger.

That front viewer was a real B itch to get in.

If you want the side view ports to open and close you need a little trimming on the parts so they work.
