I am currently building the Border Models kit, and I really appreciate it for its ease of building and for the details.
Pieces are particularly easy to cut from the sprues, workable tracks and suspensions are easy to do, all fits well, the transparents don't make waves on their surface...
The only difficulty is in the fitting of photo etched plates behind the turret, I guess that a jig to bend them would have been good without risking to break the excellent tube frame bending the pieces on it. Besides the fit of the metal plates was not perfect once bended, I suspect that the angle of their profile is a bit too strong and it could fit better by shortening the lower plastic tubes about 0.1-0.2 mm to give a slightly increased angulation to the rear.
Besides I see that the inside caps of the wheels seem made by some rubber, not polyethylene, so I will paint their vanes into the wheel by acrylic paint or a thin layer of cyanoacrylate to avoid the possibility of any future chemical reaction with the plastic. As an alternative, I could omit them and glue the wheels to their pins.
I've read that the painting instructions contain errors and some research should be made to avoid to copy them on the model.
Anyway I am very satisfied with this model, I think that I'll buy their Pz.IV too just to have another good build.
