"Allied or Axis pigeons?" Brings to mind the scene from "The Longest Day" where the two war correspondents release their carrier pigeons and they promptly fly inland instead of back across the channel.

If they are outfitted with cowboy hats (recent news in the U.S.), they surely would be Allied.

Shouldn't that kit be covered on an aircraft site? Only Military vehicles on Armorama...

Are these Allied or Axis pigeons?

Depends how you paint it. Panzergray for Axis, Olive Drab for allied. Or maybe they are for WWI only?

Cor, stone the crows! (a quote from the longest day film)

not sure if these are a good idea, might be as dead as a dodo, but i dare say some might "bury their heads in the sand" or perhaps they'll just swan about the place as if nothing is wrong.

ok I'm done with the bird pun jokes now, honest.

Pigeons are always around when you don't want/need them but try finding one when you need it ...

Many, many years ago Tamiya released a set of barnyard animals which included some chickens and baby chicks. The chicks can easily be modified into resembling smaller birds such as sparrows, chickadees, etc. with paper wings.
