I have a 1/76-scale white metal kit of the Ferret Mk.2, which I plan to paint as a Range Safety Vehicle at BATUS. Does anyone know when these were used as such, and which other vehicles (apart from the Chieftain) would have been at BATUS at the same time?

The Ferret Mk.2 was used at BATUS from 72/73 to 96/97 give or take a year. You would also have seen the following AFV’s at that time. FV432, Abbot, CVR(T) series Spartan, Scorpion, Samaritan, Warrior, Challenger. Just to name a few. Ferret was used as a range safety vehicle in the 90's. Written as I sit in my office at CFB Suffield.
