Ok probably a big ask but I'm looking for a couple of 1970's/80's U.S.Army figures that would go with a loaded 1/35 M911 tank transporter.
If someone could point in the right direction I'd appreciate it thanks.

There is nothing specific that would make a couple time-period appropriate US Army figures an M911 C-HET crew. They would be in the time-period field uniform ('70s - OG 107 fatigues, '80s - Woodland BDUs) and ALICE web gear. The helmets would be steel pot helmets for the '70s through about '84 and Kevlar helmets after that. Guys outside the truck could be any figures. Any seated figures could be a driver/passenger.

The driver from the Tamiya M151A2 is one option. Better yet the driver from their Gamma Goat kit. I could send you either one when I get home in a week if you’re interested.

Maybe the standing figures from the old Tamiya M577 kit?

They would work for '70s guys in OG-107s. The 4.2" mortar crew would also work.

Thanks for the ideas which look about right, but Dan why change the heads, is that purely because of the hemets?

Because those old Tamiya figures heads are really ugly. I built the guys from their first M113 kit, and they were only marginally better.

For 70's figures, I would rather spend the money on Bravo6 figures. I know they are Vietnam era figures, and they wear the jungle fatigues with slanted pockets, but there are so many options in "relaxed" poses that could work.

Rob also makes a good point on the Tamiya M151A2 driver.

Look at these heads from Hornet compared to the old Tamiya ones.
