Kudos to Meng for including the crane! Gives the modeler more display options for sure.

I need this and the G1 so I can replace my old Tamiya JPs.

While this is undoubtedly a great kit I think that I have one of these from RFM with the full interior somewhere in my to-build pile, so my interest is marginal at this time. I'd like to see a build comparison at some point.

You're missing the point... This has the crane. And a little t of people don't have one in their stash to build.

True enough Stevie, but the real point is the tank; the crane is about as important in the grand scheme as the "limited edition" crewman in my RFM kit. Besides, the crane is available aftermarket and so can be used conjunction with ANY kit. I'm using mine on one of my King Tigers.

No your missing the point he's making. sure enough this doesn't apply to you because you've already got a model of this variant, but for those on the lookout for a G2 the addition of the crane is a nice incentive to buy this kit over the others.

From having little choice a few years ago we are now spoilt for choice, the more the merrier....

Great it has the jib crane but does it have an engine to remove with the crane?

Boxart says "and engine included".

There are however some comments on Missing Lynx that indicates errors if the CAD image is the final model. Some may disagree.

Hobbyeasy has this on preorder at less than $30US, which is a deal given that some new kits are going for twice that. Too bad I don’t need one, but I expect at that price some guys will be picking more than one or two.

And it’s due end of next month, too.
