My joke post actually produced a number of angry responses on another post because people have no sense of humor these days. I think instead of stocking up on toilet paper, people need to buy a case of Sense of Humor. Any brand will work.

Well, if you'd work in the health service like me, you probably wouldn't find ich funny either. I see the sick, I see the one's with fear, I see medics and nurses who work 48 hours without a break.

The "if you don't like it, don't buy it" just doesn't work here, sorry guys.

I can safely say that all of us appreciate the hard work of healthcare workers. You save lives, that's a fact.
But don't think this makes you a moral authority on the subject of what a company can or cannot do, or how other people cope with these hard times. So stop pretending to be standing on some kind of moral high ground based on your profession.

And the "don't buy" works, whether you like it or not. As a consumer the best way to get your way is to vote with your wallet.

Again, if you don't like this then stop building instruments of war as it is offending to veterans and civilians experiencing the horrors and losing friends and family.

if you believe this is about moral authority or moral high ground, sorry, you're wrong, this about how some of us feel and how some of us react in these difficult times.

I
But don't let these things impair your judgement. And don't take away other people's way to cope with the threat and stress they experience. If this puts some smile on other people's faces, I say it's worth it. It's not everybody's cup of tea, but just because you don't like it, you shouldn't take it away from others.
