Hmm, are you talking about the posters or the overreaction by the media and world governments?

This could turn into another ISIS flag decal thread.

I'd order some too but this months hobby budget went to a vet bill. I'm sure someone will be offended by them and they'll quit making these pretty quick.

What a shame, when their other stuff is so good. But everyone makes mistakes right?
No one is perfect and hopefully they will gauge the reaction and come back down to Earth. We all deserve a second chance after all.

Why? It's not offensive, it's relevant to history there is no reason to be upset about them.
It's just a piece of paper used in a diorama.
You may as well take swastika's out of model kits now.
I can't believe I said that. This is the ISIS decal thread. Part 2.

Coronavirus Questions:
If we run out of water during the current crisis, is it safe to drink our acryllic based model paints? Which would taste better? Tamiya, Model Master, Vallejo, or Ammo?
And, is nontoxic Testors fake model glue safe to eat if we run out of rations?
Do you suggest decal paper or kit instructions for toilet paper if we run out?

Testor's in the blue tube? I dunno about eating it, but it sure does smell pretty, maybe use it for an air freshener.
So far as decal paper and kit instructions as emergency wipe goes, they are far too valuable. Here in MA we have finally found something that the print version of the Boston Globe is actually good for - since it's pretty much useless as a source of news and information...
Here's a hint, don't be so uptight people, don't be offended by everything you see, stress lowers your resistance to infection. Put on some Stooges movies, build a model or three, get some fresh air and laugh. Endorphins are good for you!!! Oh, and before I forget- Drink water, change your socks, take Motrin and wash your freakin' hands!

My joke post actually produced a number of angry responses on another post because people have no sense of humor these days. I think instead of stocking up on toilet paper, people need to buy a case of Sense of Humor. Any brand will work.

Just in time for my apocalypse dio! Well Wayne,, think I'd choose the instructions. Decal paper is a bit on thick side and is harder to fold. And some of those orange tube people are likely to be offended by lots of other basically harmless stuff.

Really? to each their own where it comes to modeling; I just can't ever see myself modeling anything using this and am already busy in my corner of the world happily modeling while the craziness washes over the World. I figure that, between the modern equivalent of Twinkies and my stash I won't have to come up for air for quite a while. Take care out there all of you and don't forget the superglue debonder!

I am working in the health sector, I see what this virus does. to patients. to nurses, doctors, medics. No it's just not funny and completely tasteless. If governments would have reacted earlier and the people who still think the virus is a lie and something to make fun about, would have bit of a hindsight, lots could have been avoided.

But we’re modelling war, that is tasteless and not funny, should we stop altogether? Maybe this could be used to record the effort put in by the medical profession (thank you), and convey the true horrors of this virus to different walks of life? Just a suggestion.
I thought it was timely and on point, not that I’m about to buy it.
As for hindsight and avoiding things, this is a modelling site, not a political soapbox.

So this is tasteless and not funny, but monetising on past events is perfectly fine.
World Wars killed tens of millions of people and nobody is whining about building instruments of war in small scale.
But god forbid that a small business creates a small set of decals about a recent pandemic.
Would it hurt us just to let it go once in a while?
And nobody is saying that it's funny, nobody is denying the virus, or that it is a serious pandemic. Only You guys think it was done for the LOLz.

Funny that you'd mention that about people whining because we build models of war machines...years ago I was working for a hobby store and went to a toy convention where we set up a display. No sooner set up when a grumpy-looking woman came over and berated me for being a "war monger". To say that I was flabbergasted is to put it mildly; it truly takes all kinds. As to the posters: I could care less as I'd never need/buy them but I also don't care to limit other peoples' choices. If it did, in fact, make light of something serious I might comment, but as a previous individual pointed out this is a model forum and politicos can head thata way.

Well, if you'd work in the health service like me, you probably wouldn't find ich funny either. I see the sick, I see the one's with fear, I see medics and nurses who work 48 hours without a break.
The "if you don't like it, don't buy it" just doesn't work here, sorry guys.
