As it stands, I will revive this thread in September and we'll get things rolling for a September 1 start date. Looks like a good batch of participants.
What is the difference in a group and a campaign build?

Hmmm... I may just jump in on this.

I would particiapte in an M113 FOV group build. You could have it end on November 3rd (11/3). Now, where could I find the proper reference materials...

Huah! I'll do one if you do one! Revell HAWK + M548? IAF?
Want to share refs?

How about January 13th (1/13)? With a start date somewhere in August it gives us a decent amount of time for us slowpokes and allows those of us in the Incoming campaign to finish up.
Makes good use of the winter months.

I would be in for a M113 campaign but could it be a dio of OIF or IDF sort Or just any M113.
I'd say any M113 or M113 based vehicle like M577, M548 etc and including the new ones with 6 roadwheels.
There should be enough interest for a separate OIF/Op Telic build depending on how many have finished their Challenger 2s and M1A1s already.

I would love to join this campaign! But only if the end date is in January or later. I'm working on my Incoming project now and soon will start Move It! and Project-X models, so I'm quite busy already.
Now I only need to decide what I would build... On the box pile I have:
- Academy M113A1 ACAV, two M981's (one to be converted to M901) and M113A2,
- Italeri M113A1 (probably to be converted to Zippo),
- Tamiya M106A1 and M113A2 ("Desert" release - I want to convert it fully to M113A3),
- and recent addition: AFV Club AIFV...
Oh, boy... I should probably use this campaign as a motivation to build at least a couple of them! :-)

Sounds great, especially with all the varieties for this type. Sounds like we'll see a few Recoiless rifle and mortar carriers so far.

Aye aye, count me in. I've got an Academy (IDF) Fitter to retrofit to Canadian, to be changing the pack on a Cdn 113A2. The January 13 end date sounds good to me, gives me something to do over Christmas vacation. (:-)

Silly me. I didn't know that you can enlist prior to the campaign being approved. My date error got fixed so now everybody on this thread can enlist.

There was a proposal by GD to mount half of the launcher box from the mlrs onto a streched chassis.

mikeli125, a MLRS is based on the Bradley and not on a M113 sp you can skip that one.
