Sorry - jumping in late here - as to the issue of loose drive sprockets; if the vehicle interior will allow, I will drill out the sprocket axle holes in the chassis tub and run that piece of plastic rod all the way across the vehicle for even more support for the sprockets. (Especially on Shermans! I wish I could do the same for the Sherman rear idlers but alas no.)
I'm confused? You realize this isn't a Sherman ?
On this vehicle you could cut off the mount and use a shaft all the way across the lower hull. The thing with the sloppy sprocket fit was just an easy fix, as the Sprockets on this kit were desighned to get glued on.
The Track whyle being workable keeps comong apart and is best glued together.

Ps. The inside of the sprocket just has a thin back wall and nothing to mount a shaft to.
