Good luck with the hip Russ! You should join us for one of the TNI Zoom builds or the Northwest Scale Modeler Zoom meetings. It works pretty well and allow us to keep in touch.

Thanks Rick. Thursday’s are difficult days for me, as I’m usually busy during the day with a set appointment schedule. I also get lousy reception on the internet in the only place I can work on models, as we live down in a “lost signal black hole“, so zoom doesn’t work well for me unless I’m right on top of the modem, and there’s no place to set up a table there. One of these days though I might get my computer programmer daughter to help troubleshoot. Sure do miss those TNI meetings at the Red Barn though.

So will the little bio-terror running amuck, how many kits been placed on hold for add-ons, paint etc. A M1114 I've been working on is shelved due to waiting on P.E and some paints. I only have Hobby Lobby here and now with Model Master line of paint phasing out, I'm pretty much mail order only. I've opened the box on Meng's M1a2 Tusk kit having pretty much everything I need to complete the project. Sprue Brothers is good for most needs, but they don't have the items for the M1114 I need. Good luck out there!
What M1114 items are you looking for?

I have ET model's SincGars and BFT coming across the ocean via Hobby ease. And I'm scratch building a spare tire mount that we had made at Camp Liberty by the civies contractors.

Sounds like a cool project. I have a HMMWV group on Facebook if you are active there called HMMWV In Scale. Feel free to drop in if you would like.

The Covid 19 time has seen me quite successfull so far as there are no club meetings for me since February and also no model expos, which I usually attend as an exhibitor. 5 of 5 expos which I have planned for this year are cancelled ....
Anyway, that gave me a lot of time to reduce my stash and here is what I made so far:
No. 1: Kanonenjagdpanzer, German Bundeswehr (Revell 1/35)
No. 2: MiG 21bis, Finnish Air Force (Eduard 1/48)
No. 3: Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2, Finnish Air Force (Eduard 1/48)
No. 4: Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6, Finnish Air Force (Eduard 1/48)
No. 5: Leopard 2A4GR, Greek Army (Revell 1/35) - will be finished this weekend ....
No. 6: Heavy Field Howitzer M 110, German Bundeswehr (Italeri 1/35) - work in progress ....
Stay safe, wear a mask and happy modelling!

For the people that are in a modelling group that met face-face has your group shifted to online methods to meet during this or is the group just in limbo until things open up? Personally I would like to see more online interaction (FB, some kind of meeting group, etc).

All I face is a 54 minute drive to HobbyTown USA to get my goods. Just picked up the ZM Hs 129 kit last Friday.
HobbyTown on Hwy. 20 in Buford?

It's not what they tell us that counts, but what they not telling us that really counts. South Africa is still in lock down with closed borders, so forget about ordering any kits or supplies by air mail. I would proberbly die of old age before I finally receive something by surface mail. I've noticed that a number of local dealers are fast running out of paints etc. Apparently any brand of black paint particularly hard to find. Crazy times indeed.

Great work, whoever did that. Given the tires on the HMMWV it works better for the Stand, IMHO one of the better Stephen King adaptations.
