This is my first attempt at serious modelling.
I just finished the wash and oil weathering on a satin varnish. Next I'm going to try and paint some chips on.
I mainly dry brushed the oils as I had trouble with the dot streaking method. I'm pretty happy overall, I'm just worried that the filter I used makes the finish too dark.

Constructive criticism or comments welcome, as I'm trying to improve.
The gun mantlet is incorrect for the Auf N.; I over-sanded the correct mantlet and so had to use this one instead.

Nice camo job going there.
The opinion is that the insde of hatches on later tanks was the same as the exterior of the tank.Seems the buff color would stand out as a target, see this thread

Interesting, thanks for that, I will take a look. I was going by the paint guide that came with the Kit (Tamiya).

Looks good so far. As Anthony said, hatch should be yellow as the exterior. And I see no reason why a half is closed... unless you want to put a figure opening/closing it.
As for scratches, and despite going against the universal trend, I would mostly skip them other than a few around the hatch. Look for them at period photos, you will hardly find any.

Hatch being half open is for no particular reason. I didn't want the hatches open because the interior is a bit bereft. I just thought it was visually interesting.
