Two Brian’s..... recipe for confusion.
Would be very interested in additional sets, I saw my time out ‘98 - ‘02 with the TESEX team at Tilshead.

Just been chatting with the brains behind the Clansman radio stuff and they are looking at the viability of getting these out to the masses . I'll keep you updated, this project was originally only going to be really for limited consumption but it has sparked a lot of interest. Possible to see more Clansman stuff as well.
Brian, I used to get a lift home at the weekends with the GoC's driver, Albert T, you'd probably know him, top guy indeed.
Dan,
Regrettably I cannot place him yet I must have seen him on a daily basis, not least as he was integral/vital to the GOC's daily programme. Mind you, in mitigation I was a tad concerned about my future life and somewhat preoccupied with resettlement (of which mine was almost a text-book case of how not to do it), however, I digress and in danger of hijacking the thread into an old soldiers' reverie.
Not entirely unconnected perhaps (I did 3 tours with 3 Div, one a as young soldier in the mid 70s, again in 3 Armd at Soest, and of course for my last 6 months as described); I was vainglorious enough perhaps to model me from the 70s with my Land Rover (the Div HQ was deployed purely in Land Rovers back then), complete with uncovered trailer showing cam nets, mapping, map boards and lighting, Gestetner duplicator, kero and water cans, and in the back of the Land Rover classified waste sacks, typewriter (yes folks, honestly) and of course my CEFO and SMG. Those were the days - all in 1:35 - topped off with a Firing Line figure modified to show yours truly.
Clearly 3 Div was inspirational to modellers!
Brian
