Hi all, I need a set of 1/35 German tank crew for a Pz III East Front set n the summer time, would the crew still be in the standard black uniform? Any suggestions on a set of figures?

In the summer, they probably wouldn't be wearing their jacket. Except for a few, most tankers models look awfully formal for what the crew would dress in the field.

The Stalingrad figures look great, but slightly cheaper would be:

Depends on how much you want to spend, and what poses you want the figures in. Miniart makes a few usable figure sets. Being injection-molded styrene they require a bit more work than resin.

Lots of love for Alpine. They have two relatively new summer tank commanders that look great!

Agree, but not everyone wants, or has the resources, to spend 15 - 20-odd $'s each for 4 - 5 figures!

The special edition set looks good with the two figures with shirt sleeves rolled up!

Starting to diverge from the OP...there's only one Pz crew figure in the above set. However, the figures are nice.

For years I have made it a habit to buy at least one good resin soldier each month. Now I have hundreds. And the detail is go good that whenever I build a plastic figure, it usually has a lot of resin parts to replace the bad plastic bits. So, I have a mixture and find that I can come up with most of the positioning needs that I can't buy a figure or kit of plastic figures to fill in the needed position. My method of buying resin figures has never broken the old checkbook.

I've recently bought these:
https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=rs7M0%2bUT&id=A8805E0B8874901836D9E4236D58CAC809AD12DB&thid=OIP.rs7M0-UTmQjRBxbwsLs-FQHaHa&mediaurl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.rcjaz.co.uk%2fimages%2ftamiya%2fmilitary_series%2f135_military_miniature%2fb_35354.jpg&exph=800&expw=800&q=tamiya+wehrmacht+tank+crew&simid=607995570859346242&ck=048C74B7EED66884E38A41FC9AAFE045&selectedIndex=4&qpvt=tamiya+wehrmacht+tank+crew&FORM=IRPRST&ajaxhist=0
IMHO they are a nice set. Sounds expensive for plastic, but it's eight figures, four full, four partial hatch fillers.
