Hey folks!
I'd like to share my latest WIP - Italeri's venerable 1/35 SDKFZ 234/2 Puma Armored Scout Car. This is the first all-wheeled vehicle I've finished and I have to say, I enjoyed building her.I think I'll work on a Tamiya SDKFZ 222 next! Would appreciate any constructive criticism. Thanks for looking!

Very neat build and paint job on an OOB (and old) kit!

That looks very good.
Once again shows, how the quality of the modelling is more important than the quality of the kit.

Nicely built! Nice light weathering and solid work all around. I agree about the antenna length mentioned above. Perhaps a 1.5m or 2m scale length on your next German armor build.

Couldn't agree more. Nigel, you really nailed this kit. I've got both this and the Dragon kit, assembled and painted. The Dragon kit is more detailed and better in every way, but to be honest the difference in price doesn't really show until they are side by side.

Thanks Georg, Steve, Carlos, Pierre, Marc and Biggles! I really appreciate it
As for the antenna: yeah, she does seem kinda short. I used the kit supplied antenna as I wanted to keep this build OOB. If I would change anything, I would probably have drilled the base of the antenna and attached a new one made from guitar string. Maybe in the next build

Just don't make it look like a whip antenna as the Germans didn't use those.

The Fu.f antenna on the turret roof would likely be Dunkelgelb rather than dark grey/black. The jack would also have been painted by the subcontractor, so it too should be Dunkelgelb (not sure why model manufacturers are so keen for us to paint them gunmetal).
All in all, very impressive work.

You might want to remove the mold seams from the various parts.

Well...it's a bit late for that now. You should have mentioned that before he started!

Another winner in my book! Always like seeing your builds, Nigel. This one really calls out for an appropriate base/dio.
