I fully understand that certain subjects can hurt feelings and can be very sensitive subjects to touch, unfortunately such events happen in any war, riot or revolution in every side, more or less everyone has always done it, usually they are fortunately perpetrated by a minority, other times they are systemic and institutionalized as the Nazis did by raiding museums and collections throughout Europe, once it was also a way to "pay" the soldiers.
