Not, if you look upon it as an artillery piece! (TMHO).
It was an unmanned ballistic rocket, certainly not an aircraft.
We have seen German Nebelwerfer, Stuka zu Fuss, Russian Rockets and Honest John’s on this site. The Honest John being an AA rocket, the other ones having the same purpose as an artillery gun.
The V1 and V2 were handled by members of Das Heer, being the land forces of the Wehrmacht. So, it would be more logical to seeit here than in the airplane part.
But...
My humble opinion!

Thank you for your opinion, I agree as to it's purpose but then there are too many people that feel they are experts, so, flying bomb, unguided artillery rocket, where would it fit!??

The V-1 "Buzz Bomb" is officially known as the V-1
(FIESELER Fi 103) , Ref. Tamiya box top description for kit #52 in the Aircraft Series. I posted in two forums in two distinct places and yet the differences vary. Would someone with PRIOR knowledge of this oddity please advise me to the correct placement of my model. I've been building all sorts of scale models since time began in the 60's and never heard such a fuss!!
NOTE The scale model is featured in my gallery complete with a diorama base. Thank you

Thinking about it a bit further on, how about we categorise it as an early ground launched cruise missile - which it surely is - so it should stay where it is I reckon; after all, a kit of the GLCM proper (ie the 80's cruise missile) would surely be here!

Dear Brian,
Hopefully you do not feel offended if someone expresses HIS opinion.
This is a forum where we should enjoy people’s models and support eachother in developing skills.
So, if somebody doesn’t like the subject he should just not read it...
As simple as that.
Curious to see your build. Please, do show it.
