Hi all,
I submit some photos of my Italeri LVT-4 kindly given to me by WWH( thanks dude)
The build was pretty straight forward up until I had to put the tracks on they were killers!!!! They wouldn't stick with glue so in the end i melted them together.
When it came to put the top on the sides wouldn't align so a bit of putty was needed.
the first lot of photos are construction and the second lot are painted with out weathering and the tracks still need to be painted.( I know there are gaps where the tracks join gotta fill em in).
All comments welcome.

Very cool. I have always wanted to do an LVT but decided to thin my stash first. Are the tracks rubberband type?

Lord Anzac
Coming along nicely pal. The rear end pic makes this thing look cavernous! Any ideas on what you are going to fill up the cargo bay with?
Sorry to hear about the fit issues, but you seem to have dealt with them effectively. This one is crying for a bunch of figs--which you are expert at ----- they would really set this one off.
Keep us posted.

Coming along nicely ....I had a fight with one of these kits a while back ..I know what you mean about bad fit.!! I was wondering about the chain on the back door ,,,wasn't this cable wire that winched the door back up?? I really don't know much about these LVT's but I don't see that chain in any pictures I have of them..

Hey, I hate to be the one to tell you this, especially after the fight you had with them. But, one side of your tracks is on backwards. Sorry.

Thanks for the comments guys,
Shermie: the tracks are the Rubber band type.
Steve: I was hoping to put a jeep in it but need to see what is around, I plan to put some figs on it talking and have some G.Is walking past.
Bear: I think you are right, but i kinda liked the chains ( lets just say artistic liscene)
Steve203: Thanks for that to late to change them now.

the first lot of photos are construction and the second lot are painted with out weathering and the tracks still need to be painted.( I know there are gaps where the tracks join gotta fill em in). I'm not sure Andy007, but I have had some success with an x-acto knife, and great care and patients on taking apart them melted tracks, now with that being Italeri you haft to be really careful cause they cut so easy, so just touch with the point in the welded spots. But like I said you haft to be super careful, and take your time, and you might be able to undo this.
Remember you always got super glue to reattach. But them being backwards is probably the reason for the gap in the first place. I've gotten in a hurry myself and done the samething before. But like I said I had to put mine under the magnifying glass, and when I would get tired I would leave it and come back to it when I was good and steady again.
You got that choice, or leave it the way it is. You need to be calm and steady to do it, and be in no hurry. Good luck on what ever you choose.
