This one is turning out to be a neat looking model. I love the odd and different variants you guys are finding and building. It looks like we are getting more soft skin kits and conversions to work with in 1/35 scale now. This is a good thing. Looking forward to seeing this one completed. It looks like the only area that needed some filling was at the rear running boards. Have you encountered any problems with this build?

Hey that has come out real neat and dispite saying in one of your first threads on this that you found it a hard job to cut the body down you have tidied it up well. I also love all the gear on the back.

Besides the questions I have asked you in the dutch forum I noticed something else
Look at the backwheels:
On the second pic the backwheel is different from the other three did you do this on purpose? is there a story behind it.
Further it is looking very good Congrats on this very clean built.
Let me know

Oop! Spare on the vehicle, vehicle loaded with the wrong "spare" --- been there, done that -- I hope you can easily fix !
P.S. I realize that the hub caps can be missing from the wheels, but it looks weird when the "spares" have hubcaps!

Leave the wheels as they are - it adds a little more 'character' to the model, and I don't think that replacing/removing hub caps would have been high on the users agenda... It's not that one wheel has a hubcap, so much as the other three have lost theirs!

Howdy bep,
Been lurking around your build-up, and I must say you are doing a very nice job of it. I agree with animal, the increase in softskin varaints is quite refreshing!
Ya know, I used to know a automotive bodyshop owner in El Paso who owned one of these (not WWII vintage), and used it for his parts getter. Interesting vehicle.
As to the 'hubcap' issue...normally I would lean towards the 'character' side of the argument, but having the hubcaps on all three spares is a bit of a stretch....
Super job bep, keep it comin!

Thanks for the comments.
The hubcap issue: I figured out several scenario's:
1 Normaly 4 wheels without hubcap on the car, one flat tyre, so spare wheel on the car with hubcap hence three remaining wheels in the cargo load.
2 The spare wheels are confiscated from a civilian car. For the one wheel on the car see 1
3 I'm just too lazy to drill the holes in the one wheel without the hubcaps #:-)
I think I will replace one of the spare wheels. Do I have to drill 5 little holes and nothing in the middle, or should the middle of the wheel also be drilled?
Let me know.

It looks like the only area that needed some filling was at the rear running boards. Have you encountered any problems with this build?
As mentioned earlier, I had some problems with the cutting of the resin. This was due to the fact that this is my first time working with resin.
Other than that everything went on smooth and fairly easy. Others things I did:
Replaced the exhaust with an iron tube.
Added some sprue to the taillight (can not be seen in pictures)
Put some clay in between the rear wheels otherwise you could see through them. (under the cargo load).
