Hi tazz:
Nice one going out there. Do you plan to use more aftermarket sets ?
Canīt wait to see it finished.

Howdy tazz,
Looking good so far. That 'Early' kit is a nice one, and builds up nicely. Tell me, are you going to fill the sponsons? In normal presentation it's hard to tell, but you did say "u cant really tell but i know lol"
Also, please post pics of your bogies when you get to them. I've recently become quite the Sherman bogey aficionado...so I'd love to see how you handle 'em!

You know, I just love the US Shermans and yours is one sexy baby! The AM barrel fits well. Question, was the Jr barrel detailed inside? You know, just like the real thing with those lines that go circular around the tube?

tazz,
the sponsons are the parts of the hull that extend over the top of the tracks. on the tamiya kits they have no bottom, so if you model the hatches open you can see light through the openings. its easy to fill them in with some sheet styrene.
cheers

If you need to fill sponsons on a Sherman, use this template. I wish somebody would make one of these for all tanks.
