Ola,
Another update of the CMK Beetle.
I started the paintjob with Tam flat black. I then sprayed Tam dark yellow and tried to use the technique of pre-shading. (it doesn't show in the pictures except the pic of the backside). I then applied an overall filter with humb uniform green. Then some local filters with hulb orange, red brown and light buff. The paint chips in the cargo are done with Vallejo German grey.
Still have to put some paint chips on the vehicle and do an overall dusting with MIG beach sand pigments (like on the wheels).
As usal any comments are welcome.
Greetz,

Bep that is looking better and better. I especially like the weathering on the drums in the back.

Bingo! Roo says it right. It is looking better and better. The shading of the paint is great. I too love the fuel drums. Very convincing.

A fun little kit to view -- something a little different, that is well done. Like Cliff and Dave mentioned above, the load really sells the whole look of the model. Good photography also. Thanks for sharing.

Great little kit, I just finished the box van versions myself, after scratchbuilding the box for a kubelwagon, I found the beetle version. Murphys 2nd law: research, design, scratchbuild and then someone will come out with a kit.

The work you did on the load is just great! I can't wait to see the vehicle weathered and finished. Outstanding, bep! :-)
