Lord TomCat
Beautiful in progress pics of this bird. Can you tell us something about the cockpit detailing, --- the detail is stunning! Please keep us posted as you move along in this build.

Hi Steve ,
Yes of course - I'm using several methods to do cocpit as realistic as I can , in F-18 - most of cocpit parts are form the Eduard Photo Etched Set :
first I paint whole cocpit in basic color ,
second I drybrushing - Screens and protruding elements ,
third - I start to play with clear paints - red , green to obtain elements working ,
fourth - again drybrushing and wheathering - I try to copy cocpit from pattern photos using Verlinden WalkAround series book about F-18
// PS.there are more scrachbuilding things in this cocpit but Pilot figure cover much details.

The pilot figure is very nicely painted! It adds a lof of realism to the Bug. Will this be an in-flight model Artur?

Thak You John - I like pilot figures a lot so even I do some scratchbuilding I try to put some pilot . In-flight model - not this time - the aircraft will be on static prepare for flight operation with a JDAMs , GBUs and lot's of fuel tanks in arnament - markings for Enduring Freedom VFA-22 Redcocks ( TwoBobs set )

Thanks ShonenRed , the solid of cocpit is from box - I used PE set from Eduard , styren and some wires to upgrade it .
