Here are some new pictures of my tamiya PzKfw IV / D
I made the PE out of alu sheet and the welding seams by placing a evergreen plastic rod coating it with liquid cement and by using the "welding tool" as discribed in Lee Loyd's article

Nice welds. Looks really good.
I like the home made PE, very nice.
The fender springs are great!
The front armor plate looks like that seam could use a bit of TLC on the tanks right side.

Those welds are great. What diameter were the plastic rods you used? That seems like a much easier way than mixing and rolling MIlliput.

Ronny,
Impressive work m8. It shows that you are visiting the KMK again.
You are turning into a SDF #:-) Just kidding.
Keep it up.

Great to see ya back again Ronny. And a nice model to be back with. great work with the weld seams. Really effective, as is the the other scratched items. Are those the kit tracks? from the front they look very convincing, but I noticed from the side there is no sag. I bought a set of of academy panzer IV tracks for about 7 euros for mine, for this reason. Otherwise nothing to pick out. Should look great with a little paint! Bring it on!

Yes they are the Kit tracks. And I know about the lag of sag, but I have looked over several pictures of Pzkfw IV's and there is almost no sag.
Look at this pictures of a Pfkfw IV - H that I took at the museum, no sag

Sags depend from temperature. More hot more sags.
Your welds are really great.
What colour will you paint this tank ? Yellow or grey ?
