Well, just about done.
Need some final weathering/paint and to make a dio base for it.
I am hoping to get some advise on things i might of missed.
Right now, i can say i need to work on my skin tones.
This is the Warriors Mobelwagon crew. Gettin the Gunner in place was a pain in the Butt!. I had to dismantle the gun, make a few cuts on the figure and sand down one of his feet just to get the gun assembly to sit. It actually still isn't properly sitting right.
Please reply.
thanks, Marc

hello marc nice little piece of furniture you got their!
a few little remarks if I may.
first you have dirtied up the sides of the vehicle from wheels up, but the front and back are still very clean, maybe you can put some but with long grass on the back to dirty it up a little.
second if I were you I would make some chippings on the gun shield travelling trough forests and other parts of nature cant be good for a nicely painted gun shield.and I cant see because you dont have an above shot but same goes for the side plates and where they walk frequently. :-)
other than that you got a very nice mobel how was the kit while building? any heavy problems we should know about?
anyway this will be a nice german thingy when its finished keep it up

Don't forget to weather the 'work surface' where the crew walks. If the AFV gets dirty so do the guys and they track that onto the AFV.
Don't forget to dirty the guide tabs on the tracks.

have to agree with zero cool here. Chipping on the corners and peaks of the vehicle and especially the shield will look more realistic as well as defining the angles and corners of it better. It seems that the authors in magazines are trying to tone down the dry brushed effect as its un-natural if over done, but the same definations can be shown with the chipping. So it has two effects. I also agree with making the dirt more uniform. Nothing wrong with a clean vehicle ... considering the time of year ... but as you have added so much to the lower hull sides ... the front and back should recieve some also... and then a little to the work/walk areas. Overall I think it looks really well and the figures add a lot to the scene and vehicle. Maybe the loader should be a bit closer and protected by the shield. A little base should look well and lift it another step higher!

This kit was alot of fun to build. The only real problem i had was where the side armor mounts to the superstructure. It is a little tough, but not bad.
I have the Eduard etch set on this. Really, most of it is not needed.
And other than that , my whole problem was with the gunner. I am qutie disappointed with the problems i had with him.
My question now is; How do i go about adding the paint chips now?
Thanks ,
marc
