Hi Tigeriv,

Looking good!!, nothing beats the real stuff, eh? How did you attach it?, just water, or dilluted white glue?
If you used white glue you might be able to weather the mud a bit, i.e. with a wash, so you can add some "depth" in the mud...

Just a thought, keep up the good work, John.

it always amazes me the lenghts at which modelers go to get realistic mud. It's just rained outside! Go stomp it up and down in the mud, you'll get a much better affect!!!

Great looking tiger, the bucket detracts from the look though. Did you brush paint it? White never brush paints well, and anyway buckets are normally a steel color, then over time they rust. Is it supposed to be white?

If you don't mind repainting the bucket you can take your razorknife and shave some chucks on the sides of the bucket. When you repaint it and some rust and dirt. The shaved sections will look like dents in the bucket giving a beaten up effect and matching the beaten up Tiger

hello there Tigger! looks good ..what I did notice on the back is the the mud looks painted on a bit ....what I might suggest is to take a rough brissel paint brush and scrub the mud a bit with it to get rid of the sharp edges ...I would also add a wash with burnt Umber oil paints just to give it a bit of depth... another trick if you want some of it to look wet just use a bit of future on the mud and it should darken it and leave a wet look to it ..try it ..you'll like it .

Rick
p.s. you should weather that cross on the back of the turret ..just sticks out too much.

Add some rust to the rear. Where is chipped paint ? Overall looks good.

I agree you have a great start. You can add some Oil washes to the mud and achieve more depth. You can also add some gloss varnish to the lower regions to get a wetter look on bottom and a dry mud look on the upper surfaces. You can streak it this way as well.Just my two cents worth
