This is my T-80BV build almost OOB… I added some detail to the turret and the side-skirts.
The vehicle was painted in one tone green, weathered and shaded etc.

This is the third 1/72 model I’ve build! – I must say I really enjoy building these small models as a temporary pause from the 1/35 world!

This is the finished model…

This is a photo taken after the kit was painted, and before any weathering!

From above...

I made a little "diorama" for the tank.. I think it came out quite well!

Ive got a few more photos here: http://www.howitzer.dk

What do you think?

Very good build. It looks almost like 1:35. I like weathering on your model. Model base is very natural.

Thanks for the comments!

It's the Revell kit...

All of my 1/72 kits have been from Revell so far!

Here they are...

Great model Clausen, the weathering looks great. I really like your base, but I personally think it's a little empty - big for just one tank, other than that, everything is great.

In your last pic, what is the tank on the left?

I agree, it is a little empty...

The vehicle on the left is Revell's Challenger...

Looks great, it seems so much smaller than the Abrams.

It's not!
I think it is the angle of the photo that makes it seem smaller...

Hey, i think the dio looks great as it is. Your 72nd scale tanks are awesome, i love the revell tanks, they are great little kits. How did you like the build of the T-80. Congrats

I think it came together quite easy! (As all the Revell kits I've built so far!)

No problems with this one!

It looks great!!

Several years ago, all I built were 1/72. I stopped the 1/72 and started 1/35 and can't remember the last kit I built. Maybe some 1/72 kits would get me off my butt.

There are a ton of 1/72s now!!
