Hi
Personally i think that italeri makes quite decent kits comparing to zvezda. Right now i am building zvezda's stug III and quite frankly it would be much easier to scrach build it all, cause this one takes the cake !!!

Hi DJ;

If the Jag Sheridan is such a piece of crap, is it worth the effort to combine it with the old Tamiya kit to improve it?

afn,

The two kits would be like night and day. THe Tamiya Sheridan is probably closer to 1/32 than a true 1/35. The detail on the Tamiya kit is dated at best. The jaguar kit will build into a nice kit, it just needs some areas addressed to do so. I converted one of the old Tamiya kits into a present day (Well, 1992-96) variant and it was a lot of work and it could have gone a lot farther, but I got burned out and called it quits, but I was happy with the results. Oops I forgot about the Hobby Fan Canadian Lynx and Cougar AGP I have on the shelf. I have plans to do a whole series of Canadian vehicles circa 1984.
Jeep, Cougar, Lynx, Leopard for starters. I was in the Recce during that time period and I want to model my ride and the vehicles I was around.
