I've just been asked to see if I can find plans for a radio controlled Tiger 1 for someone who wishes to scratchbuild one and to be honest I have no idea where to look.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean your friend wants to make a scratchbuilt Tiger I project that includes R/C?
Is he aware that two excellent RC Tiger I's (Tamiya 48202 and 56010) exist? Their attention to detail and accuracy are state of the art. They are in 1/35 and 1/16 scale, respectively.
Unless your friend can outdo these excellent kits, his project will always be compared to them.
