Okay people. I am really disappointed.

I made this really cool one-of-a-kind in the world forum system and NOBODY'S USING IT.

I am speaking of course of the ability to post in a vast array of lanuages. When I launched the new forum we had topics in exactly 10 languages. Some many months later and we now have topics in exactly.... 10 lanauges. Not one new topic has been added in a language other than the ones we were doing before all that work. I am bummed.
So...how do I at least give my labor of love a shot here?? Obviously it's hard starting out a whole new language. We have already seen how many of our non-English languages just don't seem to get off the ground. But the problem is simple. It's critical mass. We have to achieve a certain level of critical mass to keep the ball going. Case in point: The Filipino Modelers Phorum ! 108 members we have from the Phillipines. You would think it was 500 because many of them are so active. Active because.....there is something to read every time they come back!

So I need a BIG FAVOR. If English is not your mother-tongue, or even if you can speak another language fluently,
CREATE A NEW TOPIC in that other lanagage! Just a little post. Anything. Talk about how your socks get lost in the dryer. #:-)
And if anyone doesn't understand how this whole multiple-lanaguages thing works. Ask me!
Thanks very much,
Jim

Let me answer that for you Tread. It goes something like this: "Nawala ang medyas ko sa dryer."

Well, you don't have to be fluent. There are some great free translation sites out there. Here are three.

Thats what I have been thinking lately, if you post something then you can make a responce, and if you get responces then someone else might get interested and respond too, so how about each one of us provide some interesting post in your second language's forum, just so we help out big Jim

When you say only 10 languages what do you mean by that? 10 different languages or 10 posts in the different language forums here...

Brian,
Currently there are 10 distinct languages used in all our forum topics.
So basically if someone were to start a new post and select French as the language and post a new topic we would have 11 distinct languages.
Thanks,
Jim
