Here are the first in progress pictures from the Dragon kit SdKfz253 le beob Pz wagen.
I used Tam flat black as base and then sprayed Tam Light grey over it using the pre shade technique.
Now up to some drybrushing and filters.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Dirk

Beautiful build and painting, my hats off to you. I only noticed one thing and I make the same mistake. So many of the decals dont come quite right. And I see this on your iron crosses. The white is showing around the inner black cross on the ends where it shouldnt. I make the same mistake quite often. Maybe you can trim it down or just next time trim the decal closer to the black part of the cross. Cheers to you and your beautiful 253. Kevin

This used to happen to me a lot. I thought it was normal. It happens when I put the decals first before I spray/paint it with clear gloss.
Then I found that these edges don't appear if you place it on the model after the gloss coat (when it's dry) then spray another gloss coat after the decals are set and dry. I didn't have to cut so close anymore.
I don't know about how other builders do it. This works for me.

The one thing I notice is the seam between the 2 tire halves.

Nice paint job Dirk.
The interior is looking good. Looking forward to seeing the finished product all weathered up.
