Hi, I just finished my Revell AG Leclerc, Its done in a nato camo, and it was painted with MM acryls. Then drybrushed with olive drab, and then weathered with pastels. All comments are welcome

Hi WAR-TOOL

Your Leclerc looks good! - The only thing I think you should considerer is the placement of the antenna...
I think you put the antenna in the wrong place! There should be two antennas, one on each side of the turret!

It should look like this:

W-T nice job on the LeClerc. I Especially like the 1/4usd supplemental side & fwd track armor. This thing must have one heck of a "degree of climb over obstacle for the crew to get it to perch on that pillar that way... :-) :-) (j/k)
Really, nice job here. Hard to tell it's braille-scale w/out the coin for reference. However, since you put it in Rivet review, I'll give you a few minor points:
1. still a bit of a ridge/seam on the aft fuel drums. I realize from personal experience that can be a big damn pain in that scale, and sometimes it just has to be 'gut genug'.
2.I notice a bit of silvering on most of your decals. A pity, since that kind of kills the scale effect. Did you glosscoat/ useMicroset? I know, once again how the thickness of Decals at this scale can defeat all best efforts
3. May just be the pics, but a touch of color on the tail & marker lights could really make this gem Pop.
4. this is so nit-picky feel free to give me a Cyber-slap:
Got a bit small enough to drill out the coax and Commander's MG's?

O.K.- shutting up now! Keep up the great work!

p.s.-forgot to ask: Does Trompe Le Mort equate to something like "Fooling Death" or "Cheating Death"?

Thanks for the replys, Im working on trying to fix the decals, and i will reposition the antena, so what exactly is that mast in the rear center of the turret. Thanks again for the compliments
And Tromp La Mort means "Mislead Death"

War-tool, the mast in the rear of the tank is the wind sensor. It is tied into the fire control system of the tank allowing the computer to adjust for the wind when shooting. The antenna should mount on either side of the turret, probably close to the rear edge. From looking at the pictures of your model, it looks like there are two small "nubs" close to the rear corners. I'm guessing these are the mounting points for them. Model looks good. I have a whole cupbord in my shop full of braille scale kits. Makes me want to get cracking on some now! Keep up the nice work.
