G'day all,
This is a LAV a mate of mine is doing. It is his first attempt at modifying a kit.
It is of a trial/hyrid LAV 25 used by 6 RAR in the mid 1990's.
Oh and he will be joining this site soon.

I am not knowledgeable in modern Australian armor ( or armor at all lol) but must admit that that looks like a real good bit of kit building. It is also very nice to see more aussie models appearing on this site other then my WW2 trucks

Nice build there. The PE parts gives the LAV a more realistic look. If I may ask, what brand of AM resin wheels are those? Keep us posted.

Make sure you guys keep us posted or at least show us the finished kit after all the painting and weathering is done.
I agree with Mr Roo, its good to see some more stuff from closer to home.

Good build and it looks like you have used the Maple Leaf aftermarket wheel set for this Lav 25
