Dave-- looking good so far. You need to tie down the flag as it appears to be in the air on the bottom portion. Also, what did you use for the screens?

"Still need to tie the lower parts down a bit."
I know The Screens are the Little Net Tamiya Gives you to do most screens that come with kits.

Thanks for the comment!

Looking good dave. Really nice little kit this is ... stood the test of time! Love the figure .... the bash made figure stand out and brings the scene to life. Looking forward to seeing the groundwork added!

After posting these pics last night I also added his MP40 Hanging off the Barrel his Ammo Pouch beside him and a slice of bread laying on the ammo pouch.

About 30 minutes ago I also added the lower strings.

Lord Howell

Looking good here --- also nice to have the "story" along with the scene.

The flag/netting are nice touches. I like the rough and tumble look your weathering has given the vehicle.

Keep us posted Dav, --- nice concept with this one.

Dave-- follow-up on my question regarding the screens. How did you secure them to the plastic frame?

Dave,

Any chance on toning the rust down? Your vehicle looks like it has been rusting away for years. Maybe you could airbrush some grey over the areas that would be getting use and wear. I like the mud, it will look good when your base is done...

I have also finished a Tamiya 222, although it is the newer kit. You can check it out in my gallery.

Keep up the good work.

Shuddap Carl

As for the rust Alot of that Is Pastels ive not dusted off yet and Alot of it is just What I used to look like dry dirt that got into corners. A bit of rust here and there and Some Dirt.

Now rust is here and there on the Model but most you see is actually representing Dry dirt Kicked on by the Crew climbing up.

It's a beauty! I love the way the net/screen came out.

This kit was the third one I did when I started doing armor 4 years ago. Now in hindsight. I should've replaced the jerrycans and carrier with brass or aluminum strips. I think I'm gonna do one again.
